Buti Yoga NYC
BUTI YOGA NYC – is a dynamic, powerful and sexy fusion class that combines yoga, tribal dance, plyometric movements and a musical mix that kicks up your cardio and leaves you bathed in sweat and delight. BUTI is derived from a Marathi word that means “the cure to something hidden or kept secret.” The purpose of BUTI classes is to guide women through movements that unlock our Shakti Spiral freely releasing energy flows that support the female spirit.
Buti Yoga is an empowering and transformational workout – that creates changes from the inside-out!
OM meets OMG!
Founded by Bizzie Gold, BUTI YOGA is a practice that fuses power yoga, tribal dance, and plyometrics into a high-intensity workout that transforms the body from the inside out. This is an all-in-one experience where OM meets OMG. This movement is multi-layered and multi-faceted just like you.
Each 50-minute BUTI YOGA class begins with intention setting or a grounding practice. Then it quickly moves to a dance-inspired yoga integrated with hip shaking, planks, boxing, mountain climbers, and squats. The session winds down with a final stretch before a 3 to 5 minute meditation (where the real work happens).
Each BUTI YOGA class is unique in its choreography and designed for all levels, from beginner to advanced. Each session features a playlist curated by Ms. Cole Hernandez --- ranging from hip-hop, techno, top 40's, rock, indie, and meditative global beats.
WHAT DOES BUTI STAND FOR?:
Derived from a Marathi word that means “the cure to something hidden or kept secret," BUTI classes are designed to guide women through movements that unlock the hips and activate the Spiral Structure, freely releasing feminine energy while defining perfectly toned abs.
